I'm Charlene Nicol — a luxury interior designer who spent years doing beautiful work for clients, then going home to spend two more hours on admin. Emails, intake forms, sourcing spreadsheets, follow-ups. The stuff that doesn't make it into the portfolio.

HiveLogic AI is what I built when I decided that had to stop. For me first — then for every other designer who's been in that same place.

The honest version

It didn't start as a business idea

"I wasn't trying to build a company. I was just tired of spending Sunday nights catching up on emails that had nothing to do with design."

I've been in the luxury design world for years — sourcing for high-end residential clients, writing FF&E specs, managing complex project timelines, and doing the kind of work that requires real taste and real attention. That part I love.

What I didn't love was everything around it. The intake form that lived in a spreadsheet no one updated. The follow-up email I kept forgetting to send. The sourcing research that took half a day when I knew exactly what I was looking for. The proposals that looked great but took forever to pull together.

When AI tools started getting genuinely useful, I went deep. I completed an Applied Generative AI Specialization, built agentic systems from scratch, and started running experiments on my own workflows. Some things didn't work. A lot did. I started teaching my design friends in the industry how to use them too.

Then designers I knew started asking what I was doing. How was I handling more without burning out? What were those tools? Could they use them too?

That's when HiveLogic became real. Not as a pivot, but as something that already existed — I just needed to name it and open the door.
